WE SAY
What an explosion. Rizzle Kicks this summer well and truly arrived. The cheeky duo supported Dizzee Rascal live, headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Leeds and Reading Festivals, and spent time in the studio with Fatboy Slim. Down With The Trumpets spent four weeks in the top ten and has sold over 200,000 so far. As if that isn't enough for the debutants first summer, they went on to have a chart topping collaboration with Olly Murs on Heart Skips A Beat. We supported their first single Prophet back in May. Debut album Stereo Typical is out the week after this single, and will be proceeded by a tour as main support for Professor Green. Down With The Trumpets was always the track to really break them and following up with live favourite When I Was A Youngster, produced by The Rural, is a great choice to consolidate their fast growing fanbase. The video features a brief cameo from Ed Sheeran.
