It’s two years since River made her debut on the French label Kitsune Musique alongside Swedish producer Tobtok on the track Savanna. The 25-year old London-based singer-songwriter then featured on his version of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car last year, which went platinum in Australia and had over 27 million Spotify plays. Now in 2017, her debut single Remember Me was picked up by Canon for their latest online ad campaign featuring Zoe Kravitz, and it’s now followed up by this uber-sultry and sensual song, tailor-made for this summertime blast of tropical heat that we’re currently experiencing. That mellow production sound comes from Osmo, a newcomer who’s best known to date for his online hit Take Your Time (featuring Ayelle) which has over 2.8 million Spotify streams so far. River’s tastemaker press support has come from Earmilk, Caveman Sound, Hearing Gold, Data Transmission, The New York Times, Pilerats, Beautiful Buzzz and we suspect there’s a lot more to come with this latest release.
