Lost Days (ft. Ben Harper)
Ringside
WE SAY
Ringside is the LA-based project of Scott Thomas. Lost Days is Ringside’s follow up album (self-financed and self-released) to their 2005 self-titled debut. Thomas plays most of the instruments and produced the album, along with actor (and beatmaker, apparently) Balthazar Getty. The title track is a duet with Ben Harper, a sombre rocker with a big, uplifting chorus. We first featured Ringside in 2006, with a track on their first album written by Thomas which went onto become a worldwide hit for Enrique Iglesias and a hit in France for Nadiya. It's worth reading up on what happened to Scott after their first album came out. This track is edging up the CMJ college radio chart currently, and the video is at 37,000 views on YouTube and growing. The record is available for licensing worldwide.
