Portions For Foxes

Rilo Kiley

Brute/Beaute/Warner Bros

WE SAY

Rilo Kiley seem to have pulled off a remarkable triple whammy - they're Bright Eyes associates with real indie cred in the US, yet they write melodic pop songs, and they've recently signed to a major label (well, their own label through Warner Bros). We loved Teenage Love Song off the last Rilo Kiley album and the buzz has been growing and growing since then. We just heard Portions For Foxes, which should be called Bad News, on Xfm - it sounds brilliant on the radio.
