This uplifting melding of pizzicato strings and Richard Walters' soaring vocal wrapped up in a wholesome pop production make for a repeat-worthy track that deserves recognition. The ethereal Blossom is a result of the Oxford native's ongoing work with Guy Sigsworth (Björk, Imogen Heap and Madonna), a relationship which first bore fruits on Walters’ 2007 Pilotlights EP, including fan favourite, Elephant in the Room – a sweeping piano led pop song that has since become his best known work. Blossom is set for release around a 15-date European tour, ending with Walters’ debut Dutch show at the legendary Amsterdam Paradiso on January 29. Video.
