WE SAY
Raymond&Maria are a six-piece Swedish pop group. It's hard to think of another country that enjoys exporting so much joyous, infectious acoustic pop. This shares a similar vibe to Hello Saferide, Peter Bjorn and John and so much other brilliant music that has come out of Sweden in recent times. The Swedish language version of this reached number one in its home territory. There are more memorable tracks on their new recordings that are not only catchy, but also have something to say. UK label interest has heightened since their London showcase earlier this month, and they return for more UK dates next month. JF London gigs: June 19, The Fly WC1 / June 21, Water Rats WC1
