We first heard about this artist from American major label A&Rs who were trying to sign him amidst a massive buzz. Chrysalis got in early on the publishing and now their sister label Echo have the records. Jolene is our favourite from his album Trouble - a lovely, natural melody. He plays London this week: Cobden Club, (6th), Borderline (8th), No 5 Cavendish Square (9th lunchtime), Water Rats (9th)
