We’re big fans of Sydney-based trio RÜFÜS and are delighted that their profile is steadily building here in the UK. As with our previously featured track Like An Animal, this great slice of chilled beats and cool electro pop comes from their second album Bloom which was released at the end of January. Specialist radio support has come from key Radio 1 DJs Phil Taggart and Danny Howard as well as the teams at Capital, Kiss and Beats 1. Annie Mac has premiered the Alex Metric remix of the song and Pete Tong went for the MK remix first. In fact Pete has featured the band three times as his Essential New Tune. All of this has helped this latest song build up over a million Soundcloud streams and debut on the Top 40 club chart this week. On Spotify, they have a million monthly listeners and more than 30 million combined plays. Two live London dates at Heaven on March 23 and 24 are completely sold out as was their Brixton Academy gig on their last UK visit.
