Where Are You Now
Queen of Hearts
WE SAY
In the six weeks that tracks from Queen of Hearts have appeared online, a healthy amount of coverage has spread across both music and fashion blogs - Popjustice, The Guardian, Arjanwrites and EQ among them. The first track unveiled, Freestyle, peaked in the top five on The Hype Machine. Annie, Goldfrapp and Kylie were among the comparisons made - we would add the ice-cool romantic disco of Sweden's underrated Sally Shapiro too, especially on new track Where Are You Now. As a songwriter she has already collaborated with Ercola (Annie), Johan Agebjorn (Sally Shapiro), Fear Of Tigers (Kylie), Dreamtrak and the New York-based Diamond Cut (Visitor), who produced this. She is currently working with Fabien Waltmann (signed to Cathy Dennis's publishing company). Where Are You Now should pique interest until The Last Day Of Summer, a collaboration with Agebjorn and Ercola, which is released via tastemaker label Paper Bag in May. Queen of Hearts is available for records and publishing.
