Now we're into April, here's a perfect feel-good song to take us through those warm spring days from a Danish duo comprising vocalist/songwriter Coco O and producer/musician Robin Hannibal. These days, Quadron are based in Los Angeles and can count Pharrell, Prince, Jay Z, Mark Ronson and Adele amongst the many admirers they've picked up so far; acclaim that began with the release of their self-titled debut album back in 2010. The fans are already out in force again after the band showcased some new tracks from their latest album Avalanche (due for release on April 28) at three intimate shows in the UK back in November. One song from it called LFT picked up endorsement from Jo Whiley as 'My Favourite Thing' at Radio 2 and remixes of Hey Love have already had plays across Radio 1, Kiss and Capital Xtra. We love the soulfulness of Coco's voice combined with the sleek, clean, piano-led groove on the chorus of this great track. If there's any justice, you'll hear this blasting out of a radio near you for months to come.
