Sub Pop

WE SAY

Iron and Wine's cover of this track is currently on our screens again. Having previously been synched on 2004's Garden State and on an advert for Apple, it's now on Ask.com's commercial. What better excuse to dig out the wonderful original? Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and producer Jimmy Tamborello have headed up this indietronic side-project since 2001. Their 2003 full-length, Give Up, recently became the most successful album for Sub Pop since Nirvana's Bleach, selling over 500,000. Featuring in the top half of Last.fm's listener's charts for over a year now, this is a perfect piece of synth-pop. JF
