Where Have You Been
Port Cities
WE SAY
Let us introduce you to Port Cities, a Canadian band from Halifax comprising of celebrated Nova Scotian musicians Carleton Stone, Dylan Guthro and Breagh MacKinnon. After the first listen of Where Have You Been we were seduced by the rich tapestry of luscious harmonies and Americana-tinged pop melodies. It oozes emotion as Breagh Mackinnon’s impassioned vocals drive the song to its natural conclusion. Having received positive praise from tastemakers in their native country from Exclaim!, Canadian Beats and The East the band are setting their sights on the UK. Released as a double A-side with In The Dark on September 22, the single showcases their immeasurable songwriting talent and musicianship. On September 25 they will be playing the Slaughtered Lamb and we urge you to attend as this is a must-see show. We believe they are destined for bigger things and this is just the beginning. For fans of The Shires and Ward Thomas.
