Let us introduce you to the cosmic pop sounds of London-based five-piece Pet Puma. Formed last year and consisting of a professional stuntwoman, Instagram influencer, dungeon master, entrepreneur and a songwriter, the band are not your usual run-of-the-mill group. Sonically straddling the worlds of pop, funk and indie, Pet Puma add a dose of fun to the mix as heard on this tasty debut. With echoes of Maroon 5, Prince and the Mystery Jets fizzing around, Spaceship is a hefty blast of feel-good pop that is sure to add a spring to your step. BBC Introducing called it ‘something sublime’ and have since played it numerous times, while online blogs such as Fame, Indie Music, and Essentially Pop have been shouting their praise for them. Watch their fun-filled and playful '80s kid TV show music video here. You can catch them supporting Bang Bang Romeo at Bush Hall in London on 10 April. This bright, happy and infectious earworm offers a tantalizing glimpse into the cosmic sound of Pet Puma, and we can’t wait to hear more.
