Il Mondo

Patrizio Buanne

Globe

WE SAY

We knew this project would be massive before we'd even heard any finished tracks because the vision behind it was so strong. Then we heard Patrizio had become Lucian Grainge's first signing to Globe, a new UMTV imprint for the older market, and we were even more certain. Then we heard this first single - an obvious breakthrough smash. The album, L'Italiano, was recorded at Abbey Road with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and will be released in November. As we wrote recently on our messageboard, Patrizio will be the biggest new artist in the UK this Christmas. See him showcase tonight at London's Duke Of York Theatre, St Martin's Lane, 6.30pm.
