The retro soul pop market might be a crowded one these days but Melbourne-based Paris Wells' track jumped out as something which brimmed with personality, good production and some fine songwriting. After supporting Justin Timberlake on the Australian leg of his world tour, Wells' debut album 'Keep It' was released to positive reviews in the Australian press with The Age calling it 'an exceptional debut album traversing rock, blues & soul'.The album's first single, Dat Du Dat -which we also love - was released in June and gained rotation on Triple J and commercial network Nova among others. The album is available to license ex. Australia and New Zealand. JF
