Paper Crows
WE SAY
Stand Alight is the debut single from Paper Crows, made up of 18 year-old Emma Panas and 24 year-old Duncan McDougall. Released on the label of production and songwriting duo Future Cut, the single gained support on Radio 1 from BBC Introducing via Vic Galloway, as well as recent plays on Nick Grimshaw's show. It has also been playlisted on XFM's evening upfront list. A remix from Italian producer Monsieur Adi is picking up blog coverage, with good print reviews for the original from NME and iDJ magazine. An album is due out next year - we wouldn't bet against Paper Crows being on many of the lists of tips for 2011. A thoughtful and stylish debut.
