With its blissful atmospherics and expansive soundscapes, ‘The Dawn After’ by rising New Delhi producer Panelia, and featuring acclaimed producer Sijya, is an ethereal delight. Influenced by Burial, Floating Points and Nine Inch Nails, Panelia is the leftfield project of Indian producer Jay Pei, who has been recognised by Mixmag Asia as an artist to watch in 2024 and praised by 6 Music and Foundation FM. Taken from his debut album, ‘Nothing And All At Once’, the track follows the success of ‘Obey The Machine’, which received support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and Reprezent FM. With the distinctive voice of Sijya, who has been championed by Four Tet, 6 Music, Rinse FM, DJ Mag, and Bicep, the track weaves intricate rhythms with industrial textures to create a soothing odyssey. Perfect for additions to atmospheric and after-dark electronic playlists at DSPs, ‘The Dawn After’ is a must for those atmospheric aficionados.
