All Of The People

Panama Wedding

Glassnote Entertainment Group

WE SAY

New York-based Panama Wedding remains one of the hippest names to drop right now as their profile continues to rise. The band was Zane Lowe's Next Hype on his Radio 1 show on Tuesday evening with this effervescent track, taken from their debut EP Parallel Play - both this song and Uma from it reached no.1 on Hype Machine during the summer. They're currently wowing US tastemakers after recently performing on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show and are in the UK for the next fortnight gigging across the country. Last night they began their support tour with Dan Croll in Sheffield and arrive at London's Koko this evening (October 10). With TV syncs here having already recently included Made In Chelsea and a debut album being prepped for next year, prospects are excellent. Deservedly so too. This is feel-good electro pop with a great ear-worm of a chorus, one that superbly straddles the cool indie scene as well as finding favour with mainstream music fans who simply crave a tune that can uplift them.
