It’s been nearly a year since we featured the neo-soul tinged grooves and hazy vibes of Italian outfit Palmaria. The London-based duo's dreamy soundscapes have already attracted the attention of Complex, Clash, Dummy, Notion, The Line of Best Fit and Atwood Magazine. Alongside radio support at 1Xtra (Jamz Supernova), BBC 6 Music and BBC Music Introducing, Palmeria have also featured across Spotify editorial playlists, including NMF, Fresh Finds and Chilled Pop Hits. Composed in their home town in Italy, Odissea/Astronave is their gorgeous new release and the first to be completely written in Italian. Driven by a simple guitar melody, the track is awash with warm tones and dreamy production as the duo transport you on a heady journey with their mellow vocals. Early support has come from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music with editorial feature placements, but expect this gem to pick up more online support as the week goes on. For fans of The xx, Sylvan Esso and Little Dragon.
