Full of soulful vibes amidst a swaggering blend of R&B and hip-hop tones, Don’t Rush is the fourth and final instalment of recent singles from London-based artist Omahrose. Written and recorded over the last 18 months, alongside Good, Walk One Me, and Budapest, her latest is an ode to taking your time to find your own voice. It’s a lush affair, with sweeping string sections amplifying her honey vocals, while the subtle percussive beat makes this a head nodding gem. It’s been nearly four years since we first featured her with her second single, You Left Me, but over that time, Omahrose’s music has grown in confidence and style. With three EP’s worth of music in her back catalogue and tastemaker support from Clash, Wonderland, London In Stereo and many more blogs, Omahrose is ready for the next step of her music career. Gloriously smooth and sublime.
