WE SAY
Oh Laura is a five-piece band from Stockholm fronted by Frida Ohrn. We featured them back in April with Release Me, which was then featured in TV commercial. Reaction was positive and interest was strong after the feature. Now they have a strong team in place in the UK including Kate Head doing press, and management duties falling to Riot Act (Geoff Wener & Charlie Pinder), and they're preparing for the independent release of their album in early 2008. In Sweden, Oh Laura is a platinum selling act and one of the biggest debut successes of the year. This sharp country-tinged pop track precedes a new version of Release Me, released early next year, followed by the album A Song Inside My Head, A Demon In My Bed. Catch their first UK gig next week.
