WE SAY

Bringing together a myriad of sounds, instruments and textures, Manchester-based alternative-pop singer-songwriter Nxdia delivers a vibrant and intoxicating sound on their new EP, ‘in the flesh’. The Egyptian-Sudanese artist’s take on pop music blends vulnerable and introspective lyrics with a backdrop of gritty guitars, shimmering synths, and throbbing beats. Released earlier this week, the EP is an excellent introduction to Nxdia for those of you unaware of them, but we recommended you start with this brilliant track. Previous singles have received radio support from Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, along with editorial features at DSPs from Spotify (NMF, Fresh Finds, Peach, New Pop, Our Generation), Apple Music (Alt Pop), Amazon Music (Break Through Pop), and multiple playlist covers (Spotify, Anghami, YouTube). Plus, a TikTok ‘Artist of the Week’. This year, Nxdia has been busy on the live circuit with performances at Liverpool Sound City, Meltdown in London, Manchester Factory International and Pride London. One to watch.
