As summer continues, let Notrelle and his sweet reggae-pop vibes into your life with this sunshine-infused track. He’s a singer-songwriter from south east London who’s been slogging away independently under his own steam but things are now starting to build nicely for him. Back in April, this song first featured on Ditto Music blog’s Top 5 featured artists of the week alongside Kano and Ironik. SubTV Music chose it as one of their Top 3 tracks for the summer. Last week it landed inside the Top 20 Commercial Pop Chart in Music Week (his previous release Body also did the same a few months back), thanks to a pumped-up remix of the song by Superstylers that’s getting support in clubs across the UK, but we’re particularly fond of this chilled original, reminding us of last year’s surprise worldwide smash Rude by Aussie band Magic!. This year it’s Omi from Jamaica who’s topping charts across the globe with Cheerleader in a similar vein too. Now, don't you think it's time we saw a British act break through and get the same kind of sales and attention?
