WE SAY
With a sound that’s grand and ambitious, Nordic Giants are a multi-instrumentalist duo who have just released their debut album A Séance Of Dark Delusions this week to great acclaim. Loki and Rôka between them play keyboards, trumpet, guitar, drums and cymbals as well as sample pads and loops, then use digital mapping for their live shows to match up stunning visuals and original short films, bringing a extra depth and dimension to their sound. Their work features artists including Saturday Sun, Nadine Wild Palmer and Freyja but it's the soaring vocals of Beth Cannon on this track that makes it so memorable. Having just played a sold-out gig at London’s Village Underground on Monday, headline tour dates continue around the UK and take in Brighton’s Concorde 2 this Saturday evening (May 9). Prepare to have your senses stimulated in a truly memorable way and absorb the sheer beauty of it all. This is bold, epic, cinematic music on an impressively lavish scale.
