Love Will Call
nomad
WE SAY
New Zealand teenagers nomad are Aasha, Will and Cullen and this perky little track is their second single release, despite the fact that they’re all still at school. Their debut I Will Find You reached No.8 on the New Zealand singles chart recently and their musical career to date has been nurtured by ex-pat Lorraine Barry, formerly of Virgin International. She spotted the lads when they were still only 15 and has helped them develop their sound, with influences from each of the trio coming from very different favoured musical styles. Right now, this neat blend of radio-friendly pop with an alternative, acoustic folk edge seems to be a solid successful start for them. Once they finished school in the coming months, the plan is then to base the boys in Europe from spring 2016 onwards. So, of course, it’s early days for nomad, but the initial signs here on this great little single are very encouraging indeed. Definitely a name to have on your radar and keep a watchful eye on next year.
