Featuring British-Jamaican vocalist AGAAMA, ‘Pandora’s Box’ is the latest single from Leeds musical polymath NikNak. Having garnered plaudits for her distinctive turntablism, immersive compositions, and captivating performances from the likes of DJ Mag, Clash, Mixmag, The Wire and Resident Advisor, NikNak today (21 May) releases her fourth album, ‘Ireti’ – an album that delves into Afrofuturism and explores the intersection of humanity and technology. It’s an epic undertaking that sees her draw inspiration from Blade Runner and Cyberpunk 2077 to create a dystopian cinematic sci-fi soundscape. This sublime track with its swirling sonic backdrops, eerie electronics and hopeful, haunting vocals from AGAAMA, is an absolute joy to get lost in.
