Night Swimming
WE SAY
In the summer, we introduced you to the otherworldly atmospherics of Bath/Bristol-based dream-pop risers Night Swimming and their sumptuous ‘Five Year Plan’. Having been taken under the wing of British producer Peter Miles (Orla Gartland, Fizz, Torres), the five-piece recorded their debut EP, ‘No Place To Land’, in Devon and last week dropped it for the masses to enjoy. ‘Mirror’ is another standout song from the EP, full of swirling guitars, rich atmospherics and the lush, soul-stirring vocals of Meg. Tastemaker praise for the EP campaign has come from 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Radio X (X-Posure list), NME, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Dork, Rough Trade, The Rodeo, Notion, Louder Than War and Under The Radar, to name just a few. To celebrate the release of the EP, they sold out Bristol Rough Trade, and next Friday (11 October) will play Manchester’s Beyond The Music Festival and then the Lexington in London on 14 October. We highly recommend you catch them play live.
