Nick de la Hoyde
WE SAY
Nick de la Hoyde is a 21-year old musician from Sydney, Australia. As a teenager, his dream was always to become a professional footballer, but things got rather side-tracked whilst he was living in Barcelona six years ago. It was there that he started exploring the world of hip-hop as an expressive release to the pain and frustrations he was finding in the sporting world. Music became his burning passion and when he returned home after four years, he started building a fanbase for his work. Now he’s attracted over 130,000 Instagram followers, 20,000 YouTube channel subscribers, and much attention too from major US labels and branding companies. His songs are quickly finding favour at college radio and on several key indicator charts with Billboard and Mediabase too. It’s easy to hear why. This is slickly-produced modern pop with an acoustic twist that shows off his soulful voice and rap flows to great effect. On this evidence, all the elements are set in place for Nick to build a hugely-successful career very rapidly indeed.
