Released last Friday (7 February) and produced by Sean Rogan and Will Sensicle, the song carries a joyful and uplifting emotional ambience and captures the delicacy of Niamh’s voice. With a sound that happily sits within the world of Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, and Taylor Swift, the track received its first radio play on Jess Iszatt’s BBC Introducing show over the weekend and on BBC Introducing Rock on Radio 1 with Alyx Holcombe this morning. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this gorgeous tune is perfect for additions to romantic/love-themed and new pop playlists at DSPs. Further tastemaker support has come from Hot Press and Spotify for her 2023 debut release, ‘Fingers Crossed’. With her first two singles, London-based Niamh shows her wonderful ability to transmute emotive feelings intimately through her storytelling and rich folk-pop soundscapes.
