Something You Have
Native Harrow
WE SAY
Let us introduce you to the gorgeous folk and Americana tinged sounds of 29 year old singer-songwriter Devin Tuel and her band Native Harrow. Based in rural Pennsylvania, the band are about to release their third album Happier Now this summer (2 August) on Loose Records (Courtney Marie Andrews, The Handsome Family, Damien Jurado) and this sublime track is its first single. Recorded and mixed by Alex Hall (JD McPherson, Pokey LaFarge) during a three-day album recording session while on a massive 108 date tour of the US for their second album Sorores, Something You Have is a wondrously swoonsome ode. Released yesterday, the track has already garnered tastemaker support from the Line of Best Fit and the album has been confirmed as a Rough Trade Album of the Month for August. Unfortunately, no confirmed London dates yet but they will be over in the UK at the start of September to perform at the Loose takeover at The Long Road Festival in Leicester, so let's hope a show gets booked in for around then.
