Nathaniel Rateliff's debut album In Memory of Loss is out on Rounder next month. Based in Denver, his work has won enthusiastic coverage from Spin and Billboard magazine as well as the Daytrotter and Brooklyn Vegan sites. Producer Brian Deck (Iron & Wine, Modest Mouse) has added a light yet effective touch to bring Missouri-born Rateliff's stirring songs to life. He tours with Mumford & Sons in Europe later in the summer. His warm accessible Americana, as demonstrated on the spirited Shroud, should find fans over here too.
