Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Natalie McCool delivers a dreamy and hazy dose of euphoric alt-pop goodness in this, her first single of 2021. After an impressive 2020, which saw the LIPA graduate gain tastemaker support from BBC Radio 1, 6Music, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Clash for her singles Closure and Devils, she returns with her next installment from her forthcoming new album, Memory Girl. Written and recorded just before the first lockdown, A Sun Going Down is a gorgeously vibrant offering with her bold and effortless vocals layered over a warm and effervescent bed of sweeping synths and pulsing production. Lefuturewave, Vanyland, Breaking More Waves, Wonderland, and numerous other online sites have quickly sung the track’s praises. Plus, it has received radio support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Merseyside and Amazing Radio too. Alongside her music, she hosts a monthly podcast series called McCool & The Gang, where she explores different parts of the music industry with featured guests such as Chris Hawkins, The Whyte Horses, Hattie Pearson and Silent Cities. A rising star.
