This Swedish 10-piece soul-pop troupe released their debut album on UK independent label Ruffa Lane in June this year. Early supporters of the band at radio have included Shaun Keaveny on 6Music and Radcliffe and Maconie on Radio 2. Popjustice featured them with a song of the day back in April and Simon Price gave full marks to the album in the Independent on Sunday. Produced by Linus Larsson (Peter, Bjorn and John), Cleopatra is the second single from the album and a big radio hit in Sweden on its release last year. The release ties in with a planned UK tour for October. Napoleon are also another success story from the BPI trade mission to Japan this year having just signed with large indie label Avex, with the album due for release in Japan later this year.
