WE SAY
It’s not often we are blown away by a song for its sheer audacity but with ‘A+’, the lead track from Nadav Sivan’s first full-length album ‘Til The Day We Die’, we are suitably impressed. Produced by Yuval Bigel and co-written with Noam Darvish, ‘A+’ is a high-energy, strangely hypnotic fusion of pop and hip-hop with a cinematic feel. Add to that Nadav’s impressive vocals, and it’s an absolute earworm and anthemic. Recorded last for the album, the track samples parts of all the other songs on the LP to create the beat. Watch the Camelcopter-directed video here. The song is the perfect introduction to Nadav, whose previous video for ‘Us to Stop’ won film festival awards in the USA, UK, Italy and Sweden. With roots from UK, Israel and Morocco, Nadav effortlessly produces a sound and style that is uniquely his own and one that deserves your attention.
