Myles Smith

Myles Smith is a singer-songwriter who, over the last year, has seen his profile rise massively alongside a string of stirring releases that mixes folk, Americana and pop. Hugely inspired by a broad range of music he listened to while growing up in Luton, including artists like Green Day, Ben Howard, Labrinth and UK rap, Myles began his journey by picking up an acoustic guitar and singing covers of some of his favourite singer-songwriters like Marcus Mumford, Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran online and at open mic nights. In early 2022, his rendition of The Neighbourhood’s ‘Sweater Weather’ took off online. Since then, he has released original compositions like ‘My Home’, ‘Behind’, and this beautiful track, his current single ‘Solo’. Watch the video here. He has now amassed over 77m global streams, 33m on this track alone, received massive support at DSPs and a grown, an ever increasing loyal fanbase. With its heartfelt lyrics, acoustic melody hooks and sing-a-long moments, 'Solo’ is the perfect snapshot of his music, showing us there is a lot to love about it, and in times like these, we need that intimate, reassuring vocal and joyous music to help us navigate the topsy-turvy world around us. Just brilliant. One to watch.
