Mychelle is a Hackney-born singer, songwriter and guitarist who’s picking up her fair share of attention in all the right places for her brand of therapeutic soul. She can already count 1Xtra DJ’s Jamz Supernova and DJ Target (who also appeared on his BBC Three show) among her key tastemakers. While further praise and support have come from NME, Crack Magazine, Dummy, Trench, Dork, MTV UK, Fader, Clash, Independent and the Line of Best Fit, to name just a few. Next, expect things to ramp up nicely with this gorgeously meditative and uplifting song from her new EP, Someone Who Knows, out today. The EP features six dulcet tracks that span the sounds and influences from indie-pop, acoustic folk, R&B and soul. With previous support from DSPs for her music, Pressure was featured on new release programming on Spotify and Amazon Music. We expect this beautiful gem to be added to many mellow and relaxing playlists over the coming weeks. Later this month, she will be playing at Koko for the Jorja Smith & FAMM Presents show and will headline the Lexington in London on 31 May. All in all, this is just beautiful music for the heart and mind.
