For St. Patrick’s Day, let us introduce to you a couple of fellas, originally from Dublin, who’ve supported Sinead O’Connor at the Festival Hall and count Shane McGowan as a fan. Morrissey & Marshall are Damien and Greg respectively and are set to release their debut album And So It Began on March 31. From it, this first single is a jaunty slice of acoustic folk-pop, reminiscent of the likes of Cast and The Supernaturals post-Britpop. Combining some superb harmonies here, it’s one of those songs that’ll just hit you straight between the ears. Instantly familiar and guaranteed to put a smile on your face, get ready to raise a glass of the black stuff to this as you sing your lungs out.
