With its blend of hyper-pop and heavy lashings of alt-rock and electronica, ‘Red Love Heart Forever’ is the energetic new release from rising Gen-Z star montykeates. At the start of the year, he was tipped by META as an ‘Artist to Watch’ for 2024 and attended the BRITs with them this year. Alongside this, he has been added to Apple Music and Spotify editorial playlists, played on Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, and received praise from Gay Times, Kerrang!, Notion, Wonderland and The Line of Best Fit, to name just a few. With over 1.1m followers on TikTok, he released this ode to the digital age in a roaring love song. With its raunchy production speckled with heavy drums, a mosh-pit breakdown and vibrant energy, the track deserves to be added to alternative and hyper-rock-themed editorial playlists at DSPs, along with spins on specialist shows at Radio 1. Having toured with South Arcade and sold out 93 Feet East for the single launch party, montykeates is preparing for his next live endeavour and is ready to take it to the next level.
