Monsieur Adi feat. A*M*E
WE SAY
With official remix credits that read like a BPI top sellers report (among them Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Bastille, Ellie Goulding and 2 Door Cinema Club), 25 year-old Parisian fashion student turned producer Monsieur Adi is already drawing comparisons with Daft Punk and William Orbit for his synthesis of classical instrumentation with a passion for French electronica. Debut single What's Going On? featuring A*M*E - the voice of Duke Dumont's no. 1 hit Need U (100%) - does all of the above and more, throwing in the topline of Soul II Soul's Back To Life for good measure. A Hype Machine-topping regular, Adi has notched up over 2m plays on his Soundcloud page, 100k of which are for this track, which recently picked up a play from Radio 1's Greg James alongside support from Popjustice, Digital Spy, Mixmag, Notion, SBTV and Dropout UK. In addition to working on his debut album, due out next year, Monsieur Adi is also writing and producing with Say Lou Lou, Georgi Kay, Andrea Martin and MNEK.
