Cologne-based producer, singer and composer Simon Ebener-Holscher, aka Moglii, has been building a reputation for his modern mix of warm beats, analogue synthesisers and soulful vocal samples. Colors Berlin, Complex, Earmilk, Notion, DIY Mag, Dork and Acidstag, among others, have all praised his music and helped him to amass over 50m combined streams. In this, his latest release Moglii has teamed up with classically trained violinist TONG to create a hazy, spaced-out alt-pop oddity in Space Birds. With its infectious blend of soft percussion, warm synths and string flourishes amidst a subtle background of birdsong, the track is a chilled-out gem, perfect for these lazy summer evenings.
