Who Do You Think Of?

M.O

Operator Records / Polydor

WE SAY

After winning over new fans as support act to Stormzy and WSTRN at The Great Escape in Brighton last month, it’s great to see UK R&B trio M.O back with this addictive summertime gem. The girls have been playing the long game since we first featured them in 2013 with Ain’t Got Time, and a year later with the excellent For A Minute, which was co-written by Jess Glynne (a fresh newcomer at that point). Now things are really taking off with this on the B List at 1 Xtra and Kiss Fresh, and a whopping 1.2 million streams on Spotify in just over three weeks, putting it in a great position to crack their UK Top 100 very soon indeed. Mistajam has been the most-loyal supporter right from the off, alongside countless style and tastemaker blogs like Noisey and SBTV. Next comes a London date with Jeremih at Koko on June 27. This track sees the girls blend that bang-on-trend old-skool UK garage sound with some tasty pop elements to bring a song that satisfies on so many levels. Cool, yet undeniably mainstream at the same time, we reckon this deserves to give them their moment in the spotlight.
