Not In Love (featuring Kent Jones)
M.O
Operator / Polydor / Interscope
WE SAY
Released today (December 9) and following-up their MOBO Best Song-nominated Who Do You Think Of? (which we featured in June), M.O return and sound ready to take on the world with this sassy track. It’s their first single since signing to Interscope in the US, and that belief in the UK R&B trio comes because they're one of only a handful of domestic acts to achieve breakthrough chart success in 2016. Teaming up with Don’t Mind-hitmaker Kent Jones, and with production by FRED and electric, they’ve taken things up a level with a self-assured anthem that’s likely to have global appeal. Annie, Frankee and Nadine played their first sold-out headline show last month, and we’ve watched their live performances grow since they supported Stormzy, J Hus and WSTRN at The Great Escape in May. There’s been much love for the girls from Mistajam (who’s been there right from the start for them) and across Radio 1, Kiss and 1Xtra, as well as with key tastemakers including Noisey. Catchy, cool, and confidently flying the flag for the UK, expect the whole planet fall for this tune in a very big way.
