WE SAY
We first featured M.O in April 2013 with the track Ain't Got Time and the buzz around Nadine, Annie and Frankee just keeps on building. BBC Radio 1Xtra added this latest single to their playlist six weeks upfront. It's co-written by Jess Glynne (whose voice has already been heard on two UK No.1 smashes this year from Clean Bandit and Route 94) and produced by Bless Beats. In the past 12 months, the trio have supported Rudimental, Disclosure, Stylo G, Krept & Konan, Wretch 32 and Ciara among others on tour. The urban TV music channels are on board with the video, Radio 1's coolest tastemakers like Mistajam, Trevor Nelson & Annie Mac are right behind them and there's features galore in style mags and the music press all lined up. This is street-wise R&B pop for 2014 but with a nifty old-skool twist, reminding us fondly of acts like Jade, En Vogue and All Saints back in the day. It's all heating up nicely.
