WE SAY
Take one iconic underground dance track from the early 90s. Get Route 94 (the man behind our former featured track and UK No.1 hit single My Love) to remix it for an eager 2014 audience. Managing to sound fresh and totally 'now' as well as wearing its old-skool credentials with pride, this new version of the MK anthem is already causing quite a buzz along with other mixes from Shiba San & Friction. It's already at no.7 on Shazam's pre-release chart, almost a month ahead of release. All the key tastemakers including Pete Tong, Annie Mac, B-Traits, Mistajam, Zane Lowe, Toddla T and countless others have shown lots of love for the track. Live sets are coming up from Marc Kinchen himself at GlobalGathering (where he headlines the Saturday night lineup on July 25) and later in the summer on Clapham Common in London on August 24 as part of South West Four 2014. All in all, we reckon everything is perfectly lined up for this to be an absolute monster summertime smash.
