Let's Dance
Paula Flynn
WE SAY
Armagh singer Paula Flynn has been the subject of much interest after this chilled-out version of Bowie's 1983 hit was used on a TV ad campaign in Ireland. When it was released on iTunes it went to number five in the Irish charts and got big TV and radio support, with Today FM making it a Record of the Week. The blissed-out summery treatment reminds us of some of Nouvelle Vague's work, but Flynn's immaculate voice (and some of the other tracks on her MySpace) shows great promise.
