Next up on our Ones To Watch 2022 is Romanian singer, composer and songwriter Minelli. Having released her debut solo single, Empty Spaces, in 2017 in her native Romania on Global Records, the track quickly went on to top the charts in fifteen countries after being picked up by Ultra Music. Since then, she has built a healthy legion of followers across Europe with a string of upbeat and addictive dance-pop numbers, including Mariola, Discoteka featuring INNA, and the massive Rampampam (160m YouTube views, 70m Spotify streams), which peaked at the no.1 Global Shazam – Dance Charts. Along the way, Minelli has signed to Warner Music Poland and seen her music feature across Spotify editorial playlists, played on the radio in 59 countries, and gained numerous press praise across Europe. This twisted blend of dark pop and club vibes, produced by Freedo (Zara Larsson & Chainsmokers), is her latest release and showcases a new side to the rising artist, which is sure to entertain and draw many more new fans as we head into the New Year. With a sound full of high energy and infectious lyrics, we reckon Minelli is set to have a big 2022.
