Milow

unsigned/Homerun, Belgium

WE SAY

Milow is a Belgian singer-songwriter who had enormous chart success across Europe over the last year or so with this acoustic reworking of 50 Cent’s 2007 hit. It's such an unlikely yet successful interpretation of the original - Time magazine wrote last August that it "transforms Fitty's bawdy original into a riveting and tense ballad". The track has had over 600,000 sales to date, reaching No1 in five countries, and becoming a No1 radio airplay hit in virtually every country where it was released. Milow has also achieved sales of over 400,000 for his debut album. This track and his album are available to be licenced from his own label Homerun Records in the UK and ex-continental Europe. A motivated label should take a chance on it in the UK - we think the track's success could be replicated here with the right push. JF. Video.
