Milo Greene
WE SAY
LA dream-pop quintet Milo Greene head over to the UK greeted with open arms from radio and press after causing a mass stir across the US. The band's Stateside success has seen them appear on David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno as well as touring with The Walkmen, The Civil Wars and Grouplove. This week will be their first time in the UK, and the five-piece have already sold out two shows at St Pancras Church, had an iTunes 'Single of the Week' with 1957 and this week boast Amazon 'Album of the Week'. Tips for the band have come from the Sunday Times Culture, The Independent, The Sun SFTW, Notion, Wonderland and, the first to champion, The Guardian in their New Band of the Day column. At radio, Milo Greene can count the likes of Guy Garvey, Steve Lamacq, Janice Long, Mary Anne Hobbs, Edith Bowman, Bob Harris and Dermot O’Leary as supporters. Whilst over in the UK they will be recording sessions for Bob Harris and Dermot O'Leary on Radio 2, and Loose Ends on Radio 4, as well as a 'My Favourite New Band' feature with Steve Lamacq for 6 Music.
