Truly a phenomena across Europe so far this year and now set to explode here in the UK, this chilled track from Milky Chance has racked up over 30million video views on YouTube and still sits proudly in the Shazam Top 10 worldwide this week. Two recent shows at this year's Great Escape in Brighton and a sold out gig at London's Oslo helped start the buzz here in the UK and now Zane Lowe has been one of the track's early supporters at Radio 1. Coming up, it's Glastonbury and Latitude festivals and the release of the self-produced debut album Sadneccessary, which also features another future UK smash in the making, Down By The River (a tune that's been out before but a re-issue seems much deserved next). The incredible thing is that all this success to date across Europe has mainly been achieved by the duo driving themselves to gigs with just a set of decks and a couple of guitars in the back. In a year where our singles chart has been dominated by laid-back deep house hits, this superbly balances that same sort of vibe with a more acoustic slacker feel, making it positively unique but bang on trend. Make no mistake, prepare for Stolen Dance to be one of the biggest, coolest hits of 2014.
