WE SAY
Miike Snow are Swedish producers Bloodshy & Avant (who wrote and produced Toxic for Britney, and hits for Madonna, Kylie and others) and New Yorker Andrew Wyatt. First single Animal found plenty of support on music blogs, making the Top 3 on The Hype Machine, and at Radio 1 where it was playlisted and made a Jo Whiley Record of the Week. This single, which precedes their self-titled debut album, is a Nick Grimshaw Record of the Week ahead of a full tour this October. Black & Blue shows their skill for subtle pop production packed with addictive melodies. JF London gig: October 26 Brixton Academy SW9
